Resurrection: The Great Death Defying Stunt (?)

Did Jesus really return from the dead, or was his resurrection
the result of wishful thinking, rising to the pitch of hallucinations
and playing to the human ego, i.e. personal salvation? Aside
from this, we know that Jesus was not the first divine being to
return from the dead. Osiris, Adonis, and Attis are other gods
who, before Jesus, rose up from their graves. (Osiris returned
from his grave in the form of corn.) Hint: does the idea of
resurrection have its “roots” in primitive vegetation rites?
Could there be a UNIVERSAL message behind the Easter story
of Jesus? I believe there is.
